Where the work talk gets just a little bit unprofesh
Sometimes, some of the best conversations and friendships come from the workplace. And that’s what we’re doing, just outside the office. You spend most of your week at work, and sometimes you just want to talk about it: the ups, downs, question marks, and everything else that comes with navigating our professional lives. Out of Office is a space for people to come with open minds and leave with new perspectives on all things work.

Guests will first choose what brought them to the session : whether they’re looking to explore new opportunities, meet people outside their industry, gain new perspectives, etc. They’ll then be grouped around different themes and given social prompts to spark conversation. At the end Confessional Jar adds a more playful element, where guests can anonymously share funny or embarrassing workplace moments in a judgment-free zone and discuss them together. The aim is to move beyond job titles and help people discover the person behind the LinkedIn profile. Also I hope it helps them discover, why they’re here and maybe develop a new perspective on where they’re currently at.
